JOB DESCRIPTION

• Leading all financial and legal operations for the organization including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities,

• Lead the month-end close process,

• Analyse deviations from budget and forecasts,

• Lead the preparation and timely filing of tax returns in compliance with Turkish regulations,

• Ensure compliance with tax, legal and regulatory matters,

• Managing local statutory accounts and tax issues,

• Maintain the relationships with external auditors, tax and legal consultants,

• Organize and execute collection of accounts receivables and propose actions to improve the system,

• Manage legal processes,

• Oversee management accounting, budget development, treasury and billing processes,

• Provide and interpret IFRS based financial information and produce accurate IFRS based management reports to specific deadlines,

• Ensure all billing activities are being performed accurately and timely as per agreed tariff and commercial conditions,

• Manage treasury and banking functions,

• Manage cash flow and short term cash flow forecasting model,

• Coach the team to improve their skills and knowledge and help them work efficiently and effectively.

• Responsible for reporting timely and accurate balance sheet, P&L and cash flow on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis within deadlines

• Develop and communicate ad hoc reports, including for cost control, and provide related recommendations.

• Ownership of account reconciliation process to maintain integrity of general ledger and its supporting sub-systems.

• Managing the reconciliation of the entity’s intercompany transactions with the group partners

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree preferably in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting from a top-tier university,

• Minimum 8 years of experience in a relevant Finance / Accounting / Reporting role

• Knowledge of accounting systems and GAAP reporting  and local taxation,

• Knowledge of SAP use as it relates to Finance & Accounting

• Good working knowledge of IFRS,(Audit background is an asset)

• Advance knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel at the macro level,

• Fluency in English

• Experience in managing Finance teams previously

• Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation skills,

• Ability to communicate complex topics in an effective and concise manner
