Who we are?

MRC Türkiye (formerly AF Mercados EMI Turkey) is a Turkish engineering and consultancy company based in Ankara. Since 2009, MRC Türkiye has been providing engineering and consulting services for the power sector.

We as MRC Türkiye provide engineering and advisory services within all aspects of Energy and Utility business (Distribution, Transmission, Generation and Energy Markets) and over the entire life cycle (from strategic planning to implementation stage) projects.

Role Overview:

In the role of Junior Management Consultant at MRC Türkiye, you will engage with key strategic issues that drive the future of the energy sector. Your work will revolve around crafting corporate strategies, fostering growth plans, advising on organizational restructuring, and identifying operational efficiency improvements. This position is pivotal in helping our clients navigate their most pressing challenges and leverage their biggest opportunities, driving significant, measurable impacts on their performance and strategic positioning. With a blend of analytical rigor and strategic focus, you will deliver insights and solutions that drive significant client success on a global scale, leveraging deep sector expertise and a commitment to high-impact outcomes. 

Main Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior consultants to provide innovative solutions to complex energy and utility challenges,
• Help in preparing reports, presentations, and proposals for clients,
• Participate in client meetings and workshops, providing analytical support as needed,
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our consulting practices and knowledge management efforts,
• Assist in conducting research and analysis on energy market trends, policies, and regulations,
• Organizational redesign and strategic planning, ensure alignment with the client's long-term objectives, leveraging MRC Turkey's global presence and sector expertise to deliver high-impact outcomes in the energy sector,
• Conduct rigorous, data-driven analysis and in-depth research to underpin strategic recommendations,
• Utilize advanced analytics, market research, and benchmarking to develop insights into industry trends, competitive dynamics, and growth opportunities.

Skills and Qualifications:

• B.Sc degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration,
• Preferably interested in Energy Markets (energy distribution, renewable, retail, markets, etc.),
• Preferably with consulting or project-based work experience,
• Strong skills in reporting and analytical thinking,
• Professional proficiency in English is a must,
• Proficient in Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, etc.), preferably with basic programming knowledge (Excel, VBA, macro),
• Open to development, eager to learn, dynamic, and highly motivated.

• This role demands rigorous analysis and strategic oversight on projects such as tariff design, understanding and applying legislation on utility tariffs, conducting OPEX and CAPEX studies, and performing bankable due diligence activities.
