Job Description 

• The Gum & Candy RDQ Process Development Senior Engineer has the responsibility for implementing new candy processing line at Gebze manufacturing site. 
• The engineer will work with RD&Q, Engineering, and Manufacturing partners to design experiments, plan and coordinate RDQ work required at manufacturing site, and run plant trials, 
• Will serve as Gebze plant RDQ Lead, responsible for factory acceptance tests and commissioning, qualification as part of CQV, 
• Work includes optimizing candy processes, and implementing best practices, 
• Strong collaboration across geographical regions and technical knowledge of candy/food processing are important skills for this position

Qualifications

• Master Degree in Chemical engineering, Food Technology or Food Engineering, 
• More than 5-7 years’ experience of practical application in Product/Process Development within Food industry. Experience in confectionery is a strong advantage, 
• Fluency in English required, other language skills (Turkish) are beneficial, 
  
• Proven records of multiple industrialisation experience in FMCG and capital project over $1MM, 
• Good knowledge on food manufacturing technologies, ingredients and ability to operate the equipment, Experience with RD&Q systems such as Specification Management System, Project Management System, Quality Management, Productivity Tracking, 
• Great communication skills, Ability to work across boundaries / functions and to collaborate with others to deliver results, 
• You are able to manage complexity and exhibit out-of-the-box thinking and an innovative mind-set, 
• Ability to apply technical know-how to understand and develop product and processes, 
• Strong project management skills, 
• Strong knowledge in Food safety and Lean Six Sigma and fundamentals of statistics and design of experiments, Flexibility and stress resistance whilst managing work load within a tight time frame, 
• Fluency in English required, other language skills (Turkish) are beneficial, 
• Flexibility to travel.
