SOFTWARE ENGINEER (DDS) – (SE-DDS-1811)

We are looking for Software Engineers to be based in Ankara. The candidates will be offered to work on the MilSOFT Data Distribution Service product.

Responsibilities:

• Understanding the OMG (Object Management Group) DDS (Data Distribution Service) specifications

• Eliciting requirements from the specifications and from the customer needs

• Design of simple, clean models traced to the requirements

• Implementation of the designed model

• Development of unit test procedures traced to the model

• Development and execution of higher level test procedures traced to the requirements

• Fixing problems reported by existing customers, executing regression and feature tests

• Benchmarking in terms of latency, throughput, memory usage and CPU utilization

• Making improvements in order to achieve better performance, pushing to the limit

• Seeking and applying the best practices to the problems encountered

• Documenting and being peer reviewed at every step of the way

• Contributing to the product and boosting its market share

Required Qualifications:

• B.S in a Computer Science/Engineering or relevant program

• Strong Computer Science fundamentals in data structures and algorithm design

• Strong analytical skills and excellent problem solving abilities

• Strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive

• Proficiency in at least one of C++ and Java programming languages

• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Paradigm and Design Patterns

• Good understanding of Multi-Threaded Programming

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• 1+ years professional experience in software development

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with OMG DDS

• Familiarity with distributed systems and computer networks

• Familiarity with REST, WebSocket and SOAP technologies

• Familiarity with CASE tools and UML

• Familiarity with JavaScript and TypeScript programing languages
