Field Service Technician

As a Service Technician at Mettler Toledo Turkey, we are looking for a Technician who will be responsible for the preventative maintenance, reactive repair and mechanical and electrical fault finding to our range of Track & Trace solutions and Vision Inspection Systems for Print, Label and Packaging.

He will be a multi-skilled Field Service Technician with;

• Experience of  software skills & IT topics  (Advanced database-knowledge SQL/Oracle, have in-depth knowledge of networks and Windows f. e. Registry; Acronis or Symantec) ,
  
• Electrical or mechanical repair, fault finding on PLC controlled packaging, manufacturing, processing machinery.
• Bachelor’s degree in an electrical, electronic, mechatronics, mechanical, or industrial engineering subject.
• Passion about IT topics and you has in-depth knowledge of networks and Windows (f. e. Registry; Acronis or Symantec).
• Experience about hands-on in a B2B, Industrial Equipment support role, preferably in the following industries: pharmaceutical, packaging, measurement and control, sensor technology, mechanics or image processing.
• Advanced database-knowledge (SQL/Oracle) and in PLC control are clear advantages.
• Open to travel internationally for at least 15% of the time.
• Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to present complex technical information and issues in a user-friendly manner, fluent in spoken and written English – German will be of advantage.

• To integrate complex inspection systems at our international clients' production sites, in Turkey  or in an OEM system.
• To operate system- and acceptance tests together with our clients.
• To advise our clients' operating staff at the production line and provide trainings if needed.
• To give technical support at the clients site or remotely.
• To support the design of set-up- and service-standards.
• To adjust schematic circuit diagrams.
• To help improving our products by sharing your own ideas and expertise.
