QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Informatics, Industrial Engineering, MIS or related sciences
• Minimum 3 years of related experience in financial reporting, auditing, controlling or similar fields.
• Knowledge in local GAAP, IFRS and internal controls
• Experience in independent audit is a plus
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Knowledge of MS Office applications; preferably knowledge of SAP FI/CO (GL, AP, AR and AA)
• Excellent communication and team working skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks within a given deadline
• Have strong sense of ethics and responsibility
• No military service obligation for male candidates
• Ability to travel ( Metro AG - Germany and Metro Services - Poland )
  
  

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Prepare and control monthly/quarterly financial statements
• Conduct financial reports to international headquarter in Germany
• Conducting all statutory reporting in line with the Turkish Commercial Code
• Working together for monthly closing processes and new reporting regulations with Metro Services – Poland and Metro AG - Germany
• Understand Metro Group Accounting rules and provide a regular or ad-hoc reporting accordingly.
• Taking responsibility in the design process of all internal controls within whole company
• Provide supplementary reports to Audit firm (Exhibits, Management Letter etc.) and work together
• Develop and realize process improvements
• Monitor and control SAP FI/CO
• Control SAP users’ authorization and authorize Access
• Following up insurance processes with MIB METRO Group Insurance Broker GmbH – Germany and local insurance company.
• Following up stock valuation processes and taking actions regardingly.
