Qualifications

Degree  in engineering & technical disciplines, preferably mechanical, automotive or mechatronics engineer
Professional experience in product development and/or quality engineering in product creation
Knowledge on quality methods and tools (e.g. Design-FMEA, failure management) is an asset
Knowledge on ISO 26262 and/or automotive SPICE is an asset
Excellent verbal and written skills in English and German
Strong analytical skills
Innovative, open-minded personality

Job Description

Operational methods responsibility of quality engineering with focus on product creation in consideration of field quality and product liability
Ensure the providing and application of methods in assigned areas of responsibility / project according to quality engineering standard plan
(Warranty & Goodwill rate-based planning / monitoring, derivation of reliability targets and reliability monitoring, incl. evaluation and monitoring of test plans)
Coordinating specification management process
Identification of safety relevant components and ensuring documentation
Coordination of risk assessment process (conducting selection analysis for Design-FMEAs, moderating System-FMEAs and Design-FMEAs, optimization / action tracking and validation of results and Design-FMEAs)
Taking responsibility for preventive failure management in the product creation phase of the new projects and derivation of actions in collaboration with engineering / testing and CAE
Reporting of maturity level monitoring for project and quality engineering
