Job Description:

As technical consultant, you are assisting API providers and consumers in the context of oneAPI. With your expert skills in API design, API Security (OAuth), microservice architecture and DevOps procedure, you will be the contact person for APIconsumers & providers who will

• assist in onboarding to oneAPI API management
• consult in developing solution architecture for providers and consumers
• assist in explaining the usage of the oneAPI portals
• consult in the setup of API management processes
• consult API providers how to use and leverage API management features
• support business units and projects in reviewing the
• business context and identifying APIs
• support internal units in the API design
• conduct API reviews and provide feedback
• evaluate new technologies and develop technical competency in the team
• Provide 1st & 2nd level support to our customers
• Implement custom extensions for the oneAPI platform (e.g. gateway plugins)
• prepare and conduct API training in the context of oneAPI (API design, API implementation, API management, platform overview, microservice architecture)
• Proactivly review API configurations of the API providers
• Review & rate published API's in the developer portal, check API documentation, configuration and design quality and provider feedback to the provider

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Masters degree or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years experience developing REST APIs
• Strong knowledge of security protocols and patterns (OAUTH 2, Open Id Connect)
• Strong knowledge of HTTP / Status Codes, API design patterns
• Experienced in using Continuous-Integration, -Delivery, -Deployment
• Experienced in using agile development methods (Scrum)
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English. German is a plus
• Experienced in Container/Cloud technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• No obstacle for travelling abroad frequently
