We are looking for a ”Quality, Health, Safety & Environment Chief" (SHEQ) with the following qualifications to our multinational leading company that operates in Industrial packaging sector

LOCATION: GEBZE

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university in engineering,

Minimum 5 years of experiences as Quality Control and Quality Assurance,

Must have experienced ISO 9001 Quality, ISO14001 Environment, ISO 45001 Occupational Health Safety, ISO 22000 Food Safety, ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems,

Knowledge of ADR will be an asset,

Follow-up and management of customer complaints and providing Technical Support,

Have experience in technical training and marketing activities,

Working knowledge of quality assurance problem solving tools (5-Why, Cause & Effect Diagrams, 8D, etc.),

Good knowledge of SPC and MS Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint etc.),

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to interface with all levels of the organization

Advanced level in both written and spoken English,

Strong analytical and problem solving skills,

No military obligation for male candidates,

Living in Istanbul Asian side or around Gebze-Izmit area

Self-motivated, proactive, energetic, creative, eager to learn continuously,

Having driving license and being able to travel occasionally,

JOB DESCRIPTION

The position will be reporting directly to the Plant Manager & Regional SHEQ Manager dotted line and the responsibilities will be as follows;

Management of ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 Environment, ISO 45001 Occupational Health Safety, ISO 22000 Food Safety, ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems,

Management of Non-Conformities, Evaluation of Customer Claims, Providing Technical Support,

Assessment of Suppliers, Development of Suppliers, Performing Supplier Audits,

Liaising among different departments, e.g. sales, production, procurement, maintenance etc.

Be accountable for leading quality and safety improvement projects with cross functional teams and supporting any major change or investment project for the site with the creation of the right safety, quality and environmental management,

Keep tracking of safety and legislation developments,

Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed

Identifying training needs and ensuring that sufficient training and induction of all personnel is being provided and maintained

Work with consultants and contractors on related Safety, Environment and ADR

Ensure the preparation and timely issue of all reports including accidents/incidents/complaints/leakers, investigation,

Tracking hazardous wastes, following and keeping waste treatment systems records, ensuring that legal declarations are properly done,

Perform periodic inspections/ audits and keep records and follow up decisions/actions to be taken,

Participate risk assessments studies, and update it when required,

Being responsible for all the above items for our recycling plant as well
