MAT Filtration Technologies was established to provide the highest possible efficiency equipment and services on water filtration technology. Specifically MAT was established in 2012 in Izmir, Turkey and was founded by fish husbandry industry experts. Our expertise in animal husbandry for over 35 years is our biggest competitive advantage. Furthermore we understand animal behavior and we know in depth the operational needs to run properly a facility. Our company develops and tests the equipment performance and ensures its ease of operation on our marine fish quarantine facility in Izmir. In addition we have designed our organisation to deliver successfully and on-time demanding projects in any part of the world. Finally MAT has developed to become a design, manufacturing and contracting leader in the field of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) and specialty filtration technologies. Currently, we employ over 120 highly-skilled staff of multiple nationalities.

We are looking for a TECHNICAL PURCHASING RESPONSIBLE with the qualifications below; 

Qualifications; 

• BS / MS  degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering,
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Technical Purchasing and Supply Chain management,
• Experience on Technical Purchasing Roles, specifically construction, machine parts and accessories purchasing is a must
• Ability to review, understand and negotiate commerical, delivery and legal terms of contracts
• Excellent command of English
• Good knowledge and practice on MS Office application, specifically advanced excel knowlege on reporting tasks is an asset
• High sense of responsibility and eager to use initiative for company’s benefits when needed,
• Analytical approach on solution of complex problem and ability of persuasion
• Being able to combine emotional itelligence along with the commercial aspects to maintain long term supplier relationships
• Completion of military service obligation is a must for male candidates
• B class driving licence
• No restriction for travelling in and out of country 
• Willing to work extra hours when necessary 

Job Description;

• Managing local and international suppliers of commodities under his/her responsibility
• Processing the tasks given by the department manager on timely basis and reporting the results,
• Reviewing and understanding of the purchasing requests of the deparments and searching for the best sources
• Evaluating of the suppliers quotes and submitting the assessment to the department manager with proposals and key points on supplier selection,
• Raising the Purchase orders / contracts to the selected suppliers upon intercompany approvals and tracking the delivery
• Being well connected to the logistics teammates on delivery arrangements
• Continioulsy searching for alternative sources or new production Technologies to enhance company’s profitability and sustainable supply
• Managing order invoice variances, quality concerns and ensure that the right product, right price with right quality is supplied,
• Maintaining all electronic and hard copy documents’ archive of purchasing process
• Bringing ideas and proposals to enhance the general procure to pay process
