We are seeking for a Purchasing Director / Managers position for our company located in  of İstanbul on the Anatolian side or Kocaeli (Gebze & Darıca)

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduated from a reputable university from department of Food Engineering or Chmistry Engineering
  
• Fluent in English ; second foreign language will be an asset,
  
• Excellent command of MS Office programs ( command of SAP will be prefered),
  
• At least 10 years of experience in purchasing process of raw and technical and packing materials for food industry,
  
• Strong Analytical thinking and problem solving skills,
  
• Teamwork skills, being hardworking, results-driven and solution-oriented way of thinking,
  
• Excellent analyzing, reporting and presentation skills,
  
• Knowing negotiation tactics,
  
• No military obligation for male candidates
  
• Residing in Istanbul on the Anatolian side or Kocaeli (Gebze & Darıca)

JOB DESCRIPTION

• To perform suppliers and market analysis in domestic and foreign markets in the categories covered by liability,  also to find alternative suppliers and solutions,
  
• Handling all commercial relations with suppliers and managing the purchase contract and price negotiations,
  
• To purchase of raw and technical and packing materials for the operational needs,
  
• Knows the market and seeks constant information about changes (prices, products available, etc.),
  
• Compares quality and prices permanently between the suppliers,
  
• Personally responsible of all needed goods are delivered in time,
  
• Keeps the management constantly informed about all happenings in the market concerning the business,
  
• Inspect all markets to be aware of shortages, recent price changes and seasonal situations,
  
• Works closely with the store keeper and ensures store space of delivered goods and dispositions of goods.
