QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are a global top mobile app development company which produce user-friendly, entertaining mobile apps for Android. Our creative, technical and design teams work with passion and devotedly to meet the mobile app users expectations.

 

We are looking for an App Store Optimization Manager, who will be optimizing app store search visibility for our Android applications and games. Ultimate goal would be to acquire and secure top1 search ranks for the majority of the relevant & popular keywords across tier1-2 GEOs on the Apple App Store and Google Play.

 

    Creating App Store Optimization (ASO) strategies for our mobile apps and games.

 

    Multi-lingual keyword research to match the localizations in the App stores.

 

    App store rank monitoring and tracking.

 

    App metadata optimization and writing app description with the newly researched keywords.

 

    Continuous optimization of conversion rates on the app store pages.

 

    Managing the application’s website according to SEO and SEM best practices:

 

- Continuous research to expand the keyword database

 

- Implementation of content suggestions in order to increase organic visitors

 

- Testing and collecting/analyzing results with the aim of identifying trends

 

- Planning, analyzing and reporting SEA campaigns

 

- Managing PPC of the website

 

- Improving and implementing link building and linking strategy

 

- Collaborating with Competitor Analyst in analyzing researched competitors

 

- Collaborating with developers to ensure that all developments are done according to SEO best practices

 

- Collaborating with the editorial and marketing teams to ensure that the generated content is SEO friendly

 

- Recommending changes to the site's structure, content, linking strategy and other factors to improve the SEO positions for target keywords

 

- Improve company's organic and paid search result and drive maximization of SEO and SEA traffic to support ecommerce sales and lead generation

 

- Create advanced SEO and SEA strategies

 

- Ensure market analysis and general analysis of the product performance

 

- Collaborate with the Google Analyst expert and BI in order to define general quality standards for all the company's metrics. Work closely with Search Engines (Google, Bing) to always be aware of the last updates and to monitor the ad campaigns

 
 

    Training of colleagues

 

    Any other professional task given by the direct supervisor or the management

 
 

Expectations:

 

    Documented experience and knowledge of ASO is a requirement

 

    Understanding of the appstores and their processes

 

    Experience with SEO/SEA (necessary)

 

    Knowledge of mobile platforms and technologies

 

    Bachelor’s Degree required, preferred majors: Statistics, Marketing, Business Administration or related field. Masters is a plus

 

- Mobile apps\games search optimization on the Google Play (2 years+ experience).

 

- Deep understanding of search engines algorithms;

 

- Analytical skills and mindset

 

- Common sense

 

- Technical education is a plus

 

Personal competencies:

 

    Good understanding of Firebase, Google Play Store, Facebook and Twitter PPC,  Google AdWords, Bing Ads and Google Analytics

 

    Experience with App Annie, similar web, mobile tracking platforms (e.g. Apps Flyer), Tableau

 

    Experience in high traffic mobile applications and websites

 

    Excellent culture fit, able to communicate easily, team player

 

    Good command in English. Any other language is a plus.

 

    A genuine interest in ASO, SEO/SEA and in digital marketing

 

    Strong quantitative skills required to analyze and optimize campaign performance

 

    Ability to work cross-functionally with other teams and to manage multiple projects simultaneously in order to meet ROI goals

 

    Must be results driven and detail oriented

 

    An understanding of, or experience of, mobile platforms/technologies, HTML coding, and preferably Javascript

 

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office and an excellent knowledge of Excel

 

    Strong understanding of ASO/SEO tactics, strategies and tools
