Tasks:

•        Within the framework of new and further development of truck and bus series, you will be responsible for validation of functions in the chassis domain (e.g. air suspension, interior and exterior lighting, mirror functions, tire pressure monitoring, brakes, etc.).

•       When creating test specifications and test cases for manual/automated test  execution as well as adapting existing test specifications, you will proceed both creatively and professionally.

•         The innovative and practice-oriented validation methods developed in the course of your work will take you to a test concept that covers all test levels.

•         You will design approaches and methods for partially/fully automated validation of chassis functions of the future.

•         You will define the functional requirements for the test environments to be used. Here, you can contribute actively with your practical skills in the context of commissioning.

•         Performance of tests on the HiL test benches (component, subsystem, complete system) and in the vehicle as well as the downstream error process are also your responsibility.

•         You will prepare the test status of your functions in a suitable form and present it professionally in project and line organizations.

•        When coordinating test topics, you also will consider the scopes of the suppliers.

Expertise:                  

•        You have a degree in computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable qualification and have already gained practical experience in software testing or development (ideally in the functional domain of chassis).

•         Your knowledge on networking of electronic systems in vehicles as well as measurement/analysis of CAN and Ethernet systems has been proven in practice.

•        You have initial experience in the functional planning and commissioning of test environments.

•        Ideally, you already have initial practical experience with standards such as ISO 26262 (development artifacts, methods, risk analysis).

•         You are familiar with classic development methods such as the V-model. You also enjoy working in agile teams.

•         Ideally, you can prove your know-how in the field of testing with an existing certification (e.g. ISTQB Certified Tester, Agile Tester, etc.).

•         Experience with collaboration tools such as Atlassian JIRA / Confluence or similar complete your profile.

• Additional Qualifications: ISTQB Certified Tester or Agile Tester
•  Software Knowledge:  CAN /Measurement of Ethernet interfaces / analysis / simulation( Vector-/dSPACE-Tool Chain)
