We are currently seeking "Technical Analyst / Risk Management Domain".

As required by the role,

You will:

• Assist our team and participate in the delivery of financial service consulting projects in Insurance Industry,
• Be assigned to numerous tasks in different physical locations (clients) involving testing, implementation, integration, model development and validation, mostly based on huge datasets with quantitative and qualitative properties,
• Provide necessary documentations/presentations related to on-going/completed projects or R&D activities,
• Work together with business (Finance, Product Management etc.) departments to analyze new business requirements and processes,
• Act as a liaison between business and IT teams/external vendors for software implementations & support,
• Work closely with project management, product management, development, and testing teams to ensure high-quality implementation of the defined solutions,
• Work closely with the insurance companies to understand their “as is” business processes, architecture and insurance products and work with the customer to define the “to be” state using SAS as the base as well as to gather requirements and in turn define, document, and present the solutions back to the customer,
• Negotiate agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between business and IT units from initial requirements to final implementation,
• Translate high level business requirements into detailed functional specifications for the IT organization/external vendors and manages changes to such specifications,
• Provide support to development, Q&A, UAT and production,
• Define and monitor project progress, resolve issues, and take corrective actions.

You have:

• Bachelor’s Degree from Actuarial Sciences, Economics, Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electric/Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, MIS and related quantitative fields,
• 1- 3 years of insurance industry experience,
• Enthusiasm for building a successful career path in InsureTech & Consultancy Industry,
• Experience in analysis and design of software products, strong analytical skills,
• Abilities to combine business and technical perspectives,
• Familiarity with statistical and mathematical expressions,
• Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint Skills,
• Basic understanding of programming and database concepts,
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written),
• Fluency in English (verbal and written).

• Graduate degree from a related quantitative field,
• Outstanding SAS Programming skills (macros, procedures etc.),
• Outstanding SQL programming skills (Oracle, MSSQL, etc.),
• Up to 5 years of insurance industry experience,
• Adequate knowledge in core insurance information systems,
• Experience in elementary insurance methodologies and behavioral models,
• System analysis experience in insurance software especially on finance processes,
• Familiarity with regulatory reporting cycle and insurance uniform chart of accounts,
• Basic knowledge in Insurance Regulatory Reporting (eg. IFRS17),
• Experience in cleaning, managing, and manipulating large datasets is a plus,
• Project management skills.
