Factory Manager

Lignadecor is one of the leading manufacturer of surfacing materials for the furniture industry. We are looking for ‘Factory Manager’ with the following qualifications to join our factory in İstanbul. 

The position will report directly to the Managing Director.

·         Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from reputable universities.

·         Minimum 15 years of experience in manufactoring industry

·         Great communication skills & well organized

·         Committed to achieving world-class performance standards

·         Creative and works well in a cross-functional team environment

·         Fluency in English

Reporting to Managing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

JOB DESCRIPTION

·         Set functional objectives and communicate to the Production Staff to ensure that targets are achieved through implementation and compliance in accordance to the required Quality Management Systems standards, Risk Management Standards, company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety standards.

·         Increasing production efficiency & applying new production methods to the plant

·         Determine and monitor the overall resource capacity (manpower and equipment) for factory and set priorities to maintain production expectations.

·         Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that production lines are effectively maintained, production output maximised, enhance workflow to optimize resource utilisation.

·         Guide and monitor all Staff and Labors to ensure that they carry out their responsibilities Supervise all aspects for the production process, prepare progress reports, analyze data, make recommendations for improving production operations and solve production related problems as needed.

·         Work closely with Purchasing & Planning  to plan and monitor inventory levels and production lead times.

·         Estimate costs, implement quality standards and ensure that the production is cost effective.

·         Develop long term and short-term plans for increasing production capacity and decreasing costs.

·         Create new initiatives that reduce waste and increase performance.
