QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable university in Engineering
- Strong track record of results
- Good people person, leadership skills- needs to have managed at least 5-10+ person team.
- 3+ years of experience in relevant roles, min of 5 years total experience
- Ability to work closely with operational level and have an impact on Business stakeholders, Operational Managers and teams on the shop floor
- Proven lean or six sigma experience in warehouse processes and projects
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Developing a culture of continuous improvement, agile and lean thinking by acting as a Change Agent
- Supporting kaizen events within the organization and providing coaching to others learning lean processes
- Facilitating and Coaching Strategy Deployment, A3 Thinking, Process Design, Reengineering and Value Stream Analysis Tools
- Working with sites to improve their processes in line with lean and continuous improvement philosophies, aid in the development and maintenance of 5S systems and audits
- Driving the implementation of Lean Standard Work, Ergonomics and On-the-job Training
- Identifying and prioritizing a portfolio of projects to drive operational and systematical improvement and change
- Independently manage large projects from concept through to pilot and full implementation
- Structuring approaches to solving complex operational problems and develop key hypotheses
- Driving and managing detailed data analysis to shape and scope solutions
- Partnering with key stakeholders in Operations, Technology and Business teams to design detailed operational solutions
- Implementing and monitoring global best practice standards in operational and business processes and systems, focusing on process improvement, productivity, efficiency and cost minimization
- Owning WMS product and manage system developments by acting as Product Owner
- Owning KPI management process and managing performance management, dashboard developments

- The ability to understand business goals, system platforms and processes and recommend new approaches and procedures to effect standardization and improvements in meeting business objectives, productivity
- Drive the creation and implementation of Standard Work quality initiatives to meet and exceed Business Plans.
- Passion for innovative solutions and process improvement; Demonstrated experience driving processes improvements with specific skills in Kaizen methodologies.
- Strong project management and analytical skills; ability to lead projects at a network level to influence and obtain buy-in, and then drive execution, analysis and achievement of the right results
- Drive continuous improvement, defect reduction, standard work and culture change through best practice sharing, vocal advocacy, and visible hands-on leadership.
- Strong internal and external customer service focus.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously - orientated on results.
