Regional Logistics Manager

We are looking for an experienced logistics professional to lead country logistics management teams within the global logistics organization with the following job description. Improving lead time, reducing costs and implementing lean management will be your primary focus in this role.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and/or Logistics or related fields
• 7 years of experience in logistics management
• 2+ years experience at management role.
• Fluent in English (written & verbal)
• Strong communication skills and relationship management
• Experienced in warehouse management, transportation management and customs clearance operations
• Proficiency in warehouse solution design, transportation planning, cost modelling and investment planning
• Problem solver with a hands-on approach
• Lean Initiative (Lean & Six Sigma, A3 and Kaizen techniques) for focusing on solving complex operational problems while managing data analysis to devise appropriate solutions to ensure continuous improvements is a plus.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Responsible for all DC budgeting and cost follow up
• Ensures maximization of garment care, and efficiency in the logistics chain though commercially focus
• Ensures customer order accuracy
• Ensures inventory maintenance and accuracy
• Ensures maximum availability of products to the customer through optimal capacity management and lead time control
• Use company´s, International Logistics and Department´ vision and focuses to create relevant and attainable goals together with your team
• Provide conditions for people to grow and develop, having the right people in the right roles, always open for potential.
• Manages and executes recruiting, training, developing and succession planning for DC management teams
• Oversees all volume planning and forecasting based on sales projections and activities
• Sets and follows up daily, weekly, monthly and annual KPI’s and goals for the LC Waikiki team as well as the 3PL
• Follows up 3PL SLA’s and KPI’s in cooperation with the management team
• Secures global security, administration and safety standards and procedures are implemented, maintained and strictly adhered to
• Joins and coordinates logistics and e-commerce projects as needed
