We are looking for aConsultant/Senior Consultant to join our Sustainability Team in Turkey. This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious, entrepreneurial, and rapidly expanding sustainability team, working with a diverse client base to develop and support in delivering their objectives.

 

Job Description

KPMG Sustainability Services team responds with enthusiasm to a mix of assurance and consulting sustainability challenges; calling on our team of local and global experts to use their knowledge and expertise to work together to deliver market-leading value for our clients. We help clients to implement, improve and demonstrate their commitment to sustainability.

We deliver a wide range of services including but are not limited to: Sustainability Assurance and Reporting; Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Risk Analysis; Sustainability Strategy and Implementation; True Value; and ESG Due Diligence.

You will be expected to support the team on client projects as well as helping to grow our business.

Responsibilities

Strong candidates for this role will be able to demonstrate:

  •          Being integral to molding and implementation of the overall sustainability business strategy and direction for allocated clients
  •          Managing key client accounts as well as identification of new clients and work streams, proposal and bid lead for the sustainability aspects of the business
  •          Leading internal and external high-quality sustainability reporting, including annual sustainability reports, internal management reports, stakeholder reporting requirements, etc.
  •          Engaging with a wide range of stakeholders (at all levels of seniority) in client organisations
  •          Supporting internal and external communication via various channels: website, intranet, presentations, workshops, newsletters, social media, video, etc.
  •          Using technology to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery.
  •          Conducting performance reviews, serve as a positive leader and mentor for the junior team members, and contribute to performance feedback/training. Foster teamwork and lead by example.

 

Requirements

Strong candidates for this role will be able to demonstrate:

  •          At least 3 years of experience in sustainability, either in corporate environment or consultancy firm
  •          Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university in engineering, environmental science, international relations, business administration or position-related other fields; preferably a Master’s degree from an accredited university in relevant field
  •          Proven knowledge and expertise in sustainability, business development covering advisory and/or assurance services such as integrated reporting, GRI sustainability reporting, Sustainability Indices, EHS, SDGs, value creation & impact assessment, circular economy etc.
  •          Particular subject matter knowledge in GHG emissions calculation and CDP Reporting
  •          Ability to manage teams to deliver engagements on time and to budget
  •          Analytical thinker capable of translating strategies and concepts into concrete practice
  •          Ability to think creatively to solve client needs
  •          Excellent oral and written communication skills proven through extensive report/proposal writing experience
  •          Demonstrates specialist knowledge and expertise in own area; participates in continuous professional development.
  •          Excellent command of written and spoken English
  •          High level of energy with lots of drive and enthusiasm
  •          Mastery of Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and PowerPoint are prerequisites
