DevOps Engineer

Koç University will be hiring a DevOps Engineer with the below mentioned qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field 
  
• At least five years of experience in a related field 
• Excellent oral and written skills in English 
  
• Ability to work in a harmony within the software development team 
  
• Effective communication (in English) with the team and others 
  
• Having passion to create campus wide development network and cloud services 
  
• DevOps experience in Linux and expert in playing around with shell/bash scripts to automate the most trivial tasks 
• AWS Automation experience in EC2, S3, RDS, ELB, ECS, ECR and Cloud Watch required 
  
• Elastic Beanstalk, Cloudfront and Auto scaling experience is a plus 
  
• Experience in management of large scale Drupal and WordPress sites 
  
• Experience in creating/maintaining production quality Docker images, maintaining databases Oracle, MySQL and Mongo DB 
  
• Working with Chef/puppet any other OS configuration/automation technologies
  
• Creating deployment pipelines in Continuous integration servers like Jenkins, TeamCity, Octopus or Go.cd 
  
• Git experience in CI cycle is required (Github, Gitlab or Bitbucket) 
  
• Passion of learning and discovering new Technologies Experience in system design, sizing, provisioning and implementation 
  
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
