Legal Counsel  is expected to perform key functions such as:

• Providing strategic and tactical advice to the company, the board of directors, lines of business, governance committees and control functions,
• Managing litigation and regulatory investigations,
• Balancing risk decision-making,
• Facilitating identification and assessment of risk arising from existing or potential changes in law, regulation or the external environment,
• Advising on the day-to-day business operations of the company.

Qualifications:

• Licensed attorney with a minimum of 7-10 years’ experience.
• Must be an effective communicator and able to collaborate with internal business clients, outside counsels, and regulators.
• Must be able to prioritize and handle a substantial work load, exercise independent judgment, and apply analytical skills.
• Should be proficient in labour and business laws & regulations.
• Proficiency in English.
