Chief Engineer

Chief Engineer is responsible for the overall maintenance and organization of technical equipment (including HVAC) within the hotel. She/he will guarantee and optimization of the smooth and efficient work flow in the engineering department.

Key Responsibilities:

?     Planning, executing and controlling maintenance work of technical equipment (including HVAC) and disposal of detergents and toxic material.

?     Budgeting and controlling of energy usage, maintenance expenses and preparing new projects.

?     Scheduling employees in accordance to company rules and regulations.

?     Reinforcing policy and regulations in compliance with hotel standards

?     Responsibility for maintaining a high level of quality standards in compliance with economical methods.

?     Coordinate and supervise contractors to ensure compliance with specifications and the hotel’s procedures in regards to the guest contact and safety.

?     Optimise maintenance costs.

?     Propose operating budget and investment budget.

?     Comply with all Kempinski company policies.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

?     Minimum 8 years of similar experience in 5 Star Hotels.

?     Minimum BS degree in Engineering (Mechanical or equivalent is preference).

?     Good Managerial Skills.

?     Renovation work experience as preference.

?     Fluency in English and Turkish (Turkish Citizenship)
