Process Safety Executive

QUALIFICATIONS:

We are a leading wood based panel company operating nationwide and at international level with more than 5.000 employees and having an opening for a " PROCESS SAFETY EXECUTİVE ''  role based in Gebze location, to help us grow;

• Graduation degree in relevant Engineering Faculty (Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering prefered),
• Should have Safety Expert Certificate A level,
• Should have at least 7 years of experience in OH&S and Environmental issues,
• Deeply knowledge on process safety management health and safety and environmental legislations and requirements,
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills,
• Excellent command of English will be an asset,
• No military obligation for Male candidates,
• No travel restrictions, (position requires up to 50% travel),
• Live/Willing to live in Gebze or Anatolian Side of Istanbul,

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in internal design reviews and participate (or lead) Process Hazard and Fire Safety Analys e s (PHA s ) and perform Layers of Protection Analysis, support project teams to ensure completion of PHA generated follow up actions,
• Support project teams throughout the entire design, build and commissioning activities by providing design and process&fire safety input and analysis,
• Provide technical support for process safety and risk management plan & compliance activities  such as Asset Integrity, RBI&RCM as needed through a matrix organization,
• Manage and respond to local country PSM audits and inspections,
• Manage PSM incidents and injury reporting within specified local country PSM guidelines and conduct timely follow up investigations and close outs,
• Develop and/or conduct  corporate audit and training in PSM as needed,
• Support the property protection insurance program,
