Business Development Specialist

Job Description 

• Demonstrated ability to create and manage complex financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis and problem solving 

• Support decision making in factory and power plant investments in terms of EPC & design selection together with alternative timing options with the help of financial models (including IRR, NPV and cash-flow calculations) 

• Create monthly project budget of the projects, measuring and monitoring project performance. Cost and schedule performance monitoring and reporting; 

• Work closely with project finance department in order to evaluate different options for the financeability of the projects 

• To collaborate and work with the advisors, including but not limited to, financial advisors, legal advisors and counsels, insurance advisors and technical advisors, during the bidding and financing process of the projects 

• Support in execution of strategic initiatives like partnerships and M&A’s; by preparing all presentations and documents, such as teaser, request for proposal etc., and manage the process of all the meetings, data room processes and negotiations  

Requirements 

 • Graduated with a degree of Management, Economics, Finance or similar from a reputable university (Engineering graduates with reputable MBAs will also be considered) 

• 2-5 years of working experience preferably in finance, business development departments of conglomerates, energy companies or consulting companies 

• Proven analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment 

• Proactive personality who is offering alternative solutions to complex problems 

• Excellent knowledge of English, additional language skills especially Chinese will be an important difference maker
