Quality Control Engineer - Ahu (izmir)

What you will do 
Quality Engineer reports to the SQA Coordinator and will have primary responsibility for development and maintenance of production quality standards, metrics, and documentation of AHU (Air Handling Unit) and RTU (Rooftop Unit) production line. You will be responsible for quality control processes of the 3rd party amd their materials; rootcause shooting for the problems a product has against to customer warranty process; finished product quality control before claimed to our customer.

This includes, but is not limited to; defining quality requirements for new products and preparing/maintaining necessary documentation, monitor production quality performance to identify opportunities for improvement, review and maintenance of quality files, procedures, metrics, work instructions, etc. for relevance and adherence to MSA Quality System, customer and regulatory compliance.

How you will do it 
As a Quality Engineer, you will draft, edit, revise and update, as necessary, all documents associated with the Quality System, i.e. Quality Manual and maintain electronic delivery system; will serve as the primary management representative for the Quality System; will ensure that processes needed for the Quality System are established, implemented and maintained. You will naintain and report on the performance of the Quality System and any need for improvement. 

You will ensure the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization, administration of Calibration program,administration of Corrective Action Request system and Customer returns system, continuous improvement of  customer satisfaction, control of quality related documents and records as defined in the Quality Manual and the Quality Management System. 

You will also keep management fully apprised of significant occurrences and trends that impact the quality of product or manufacturing operations, anticipate current and future issues and develops plans and actions to minimize the negative impact. i.e. Failure Modes Effects Analysis (FMEA), manage quality scrap/rework transactions in Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) system and take responsibility for reports out of MOM, manage and maintain operational readiness for upcoming ISO 9001 Audits.

What we look for 
Required 

• Bachelors degree in an Engineering discipline
• Good technical understanding of AHU (Air Handling Unit) in designing, project or technical support fields
• Excellent communication skills, both orally and written, at all levels of an organization
• Positive attitude and hands-on involvement and able to manage duties in a multi-tasking way
• Strong organizational skills and motivational skills
• Demonstrated ability to solve practical problems and make logical decisions
• Ability to work independently, as well as within a team
• Leadership skills to steer the Quality staff
• No military service obligation for male applicants

Preferred 

• Experience in Quality Assurance system development and implementation such as ANSI/ISO/ASQ 9001, SQF, ISO 14001, QS 9100, etc.
