APPLICATION ENGINEER

We are looking for an ambitious and self motivated Project Application Engineers that is passionate about industrial processes. The ideal candidate is to implement standard engineering solutions to successful completion and within budgeted time and cost constraints. The job requires working knowledge of instrument & Control Engineering, Control vales/Electro-pneumatic instrument Flow/Pressure/Temperature measurement devices. The ideal candidate is to be committed to continuous improvement and may occasionally be required to work on customised engineering solutions.

Purpose of the Job & Principal Responsibilities

• Ensures that required prerequisites (e.g. design inputs, tools, documentation, deliverables, schedule, budget) are in place prior to commencing work.
• Produces part(s) of total functional design specifications under supervision.
• Produces technical design specifications.
• Executes work assignment to appropriate standards and quality systems (Implementation, Test & Documentation)
• Coaches and supports assigned engineer(s) to ensure they are able to meet the requirements of their work assignments.
• Monitors and controls assigned work scope against the project plan.
• Effectively communicates with customers to fully define and agree project requirements.
• Proactively recommends potential quality and efficiency improvements within the engineering group.
• Shares technical knowledge with project team, supervisor, own discipline and other engineering disciplines.
• Reports progress and technical problems to project and engineering supervisor.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or equivalent polytechnic qualification and experience.
• Advanced level in English.
• Male candidates must have completed their military obligations.
• No restrictions to travel within Turkey or abroad with a driver’s license.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work under pressure, Self-motivated.
• Competency in Microsoft Office programs.
• Capacity to deliver against multiple objectives.
• Experience in any industrial automation of Honeywell ,ABB, Yokogawa, Siemens PCS7 is an asset.
• A strong commitment to safety and a safe working environment.
• Minimum 5 years experience in control projects, with extensive on-site knowledge.
• Able to work in accordance with ISO 9000 quality standards.
• Analytical thinking, reasoning and problem solving skills.
