ViTO Group’s subsidiary IVT, is a prominent EPC contractor in Turkey that has worked for major projects in the power generation and Oil & Gas sectors. Recent projects include the completion of piping works of several process units and the turnkey delivery of storage tanks in STAR Refinery. ViTO Group was founded by a group of entrepreneurs and investors that successfully completed numerous projects for public and private sector companies since 1990. Today, ViTO Group employs more than 700 staff, of which 10% have a technical background. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced “Project Manager” for our project in Baku.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university in engineering faculties, preferably in Mechanical Engineering,
• Minimum 15 years of experience in similar position and 5 years of functional experience in refineries, petrochemical and power plant projects,
• Significant energy and EPC experience,
• Strong project development & management skills,
• Advanced computer skills including MS Office Applications,
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken,
• Excellent written and verbal communication and persuasive skills,
• Strong commercial focus and business generation capabilities,
• Problem solver, analytical thinking, with ability to inquire and research,
• Team player, result-oriented with strong planning and organization skills,
• Excellent time management skills, attentive to deadlines, rigorous and detail-oriented,
• Being flexible in working hours and have no travel restrictions,
• For male candidates, military service must be completed.

Tasks

• Supervising the construction activities at site,
• Managing all turnkey processes by coordination with Projects Director and head office,
• Preparing, revising and reporting the master plans, business plans and budget of the project,
• Remedying the deficiency by determining the possible faulty regarding to the reports,
• Implementing company’s HSEQ policies,
• Managing and reviewing project to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations,
• Effective and timely communication to all key stakeholders such as employer, shareholders, public institutions and community regarding technical information, resolution of issues and achievement of project milestones when it’s necessary,
• Reporting on, assessing and analyzing project performance and taking appropriate action to prevent overruns,
• Ensuring that the communication and coordination between head office and site go well and effectively,
• Ensuring that all technical and support units work effectively with each other and head office units,
• Positive and pro-active financial management of projects to budget and delivery times,
• Planning and conducting the cash flow activities and reporting to the head office on a regular basis,
• Managing organizational structure of the project,
• Controlling progress payments and final accounts are prepared on time and as per the project standards,
• Managing and coordinating the construction team and subcontractors,
• Managing the suppliers and following up their performances,
• Planning, managing and conducting mobilization and demobilization processes,
• Taking active role on the solution of any conflict and/or claim,
• Ensuring that all the activities at site are as per the project standards.
