ViTO Group’s subsidiary IVT, is a prominent EPC contractor in Turkey that has worked for major projects in the power generation and Oil & Gas sectors. Recent projects include the completion of piping works of several process units and the turnkey delivery of storage tanks in STAR Refinery. ViTO Group was founded by a group of entrepreneurs and investors that successfully completed numerous projects for public and private sector companies since 1990. Today, ViTO Group employs more than 700 staff, of which 10% have a technical background. We are looking for a highly motivated “HSEQ Manager” to strengthen our Headquarter in İstanbul.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university in engineering departments,
• Minimum 10 years of office/site experience for a similar position in refineries, petrochemical and power plant projects and EPC contractors,
• Having Nebosh and A or B Class HSE certificate from Ministry of Labor is a plus,
• Being experienced in quality certification (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or OHSAS 18001),
• High standards of accuracy, being proficient at working to tight deadlines and under pressure, and be able to prioritize tasks,
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken,
• Advanced computer skills including MS Office Applications,
• Self-disciplined, proactive, dynamic, eager to learn and to take on new challenges,
• Team player, result-oriented with strong planning and organization skills,
• Being flexible in working hours and have no travel restrictions.
  

Tasks

• Managing and controlling the HSE and Quality activities of the projects,
• Maintaining an effective control of Quality and Health, Safety, and Environmental impact management, together with the processes of auditing, review and feedback,
• Monitoring the implementation of safety and loss prevention plans throughout the project,
• Coordinating the implementation of the Project Quality Plan, Quality processes and procedures,
• Reviewing and updating policies and procedures to assure compliance with local legislation and industry standards,
• Promoting safe working environment attitudes among all personnel,
• Conducting site surveys to determine safe limits of exposure,
• Developing and implementing safety programs to prevent or correct unsafe environmental working conditions,
• Developing and implementing quality programs,
• Complying with Company’s Quality and HSE Management System,
• Ensuring that site teams identify and correct potential hazards and ensure compliance with relevant industry safety practices,
• Investigating accidents to minimize recurrence and prepare accident reports,
• Controlling and reporting inspections,
• Participating in safety meetings,
• Producing projects’ monthly statistics,
• Ensuring that site teams at site conduct and coordinate required HSE trainings.
