Plant manager would be responsible for management and operation of the waste processing / facility and maintenance / operation of the collection and control system

Job descriptions and key responsibilities

• Leading, overseeing and coordinating the plant
• Developing, implementing and performing the strategy and action plans to achieve required and targeted operational activities
• Managing and realizing new investments according to the project plan.
• Assuring all processes, tasks and the actions on the field to be in line with the H&S and Environmental requirements and the regulations
• Preparing and realising the Emergency and Contincency plans
• Managing and maintaining the work ethics and the sustainability activities
• Contributing to the sales and marketing acitivities by customer visits, support to sales team and having an active role in the implementation of sales strategy
• Promoting a successful, team-oriented workforce
• Being responsible for all administrative duties;
  1. Reporting of plant output and performance
  2. Scheduling of maintenance,
  3. Health and safety updates
  4. Hazardous waste inspections and documentation.

  The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications

• University degree in engineering fatulties, e.g. Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Environment
• Over 10 years experience in a plant, production management position
• Sound knowledge of maintenance processes
• Strong hands-on management skills with a high level of experience in team management, planning, coordination, management by KPIs and reporting
• Strong communication and coaching skills
• Experience on production technology knowledge and commissioning new investments.
• Sound knowledge about quality, environmental, health and safety management systems
• Well organized, strong analytical and organizational skills
• Highly driven, assertive, solutions oriented
• Excellent command of English
• Having knowledge on waste processing / management regulations (will be an asset)
