QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Ayaydın Miroglio is a joint-venture with 3 well known brands; İpekyol,Twist,Machka .We are looking for a"Merchandise Planner"to join our growing team and as a team

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics or similar educational background
  • 3+ years’ experience in the area of (merchandise) planning, allocation, supply chain or related work field preferably in fashion industry
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Understanding of ERP and reporting systems
  • Good both spoken and written English

JOB DESCRIPTION

Business Planning and Budgeting

  • Participate in the annual business planning and provide inputs to the top management.
  • Oversee the category management with the objective of maximizing sales and profits
  • Plan and approve the merchandising budget for the category/brand/territory

Merchandise, and Assortment Planning

  • Prepare and monitor merchandise analytics based on actual sales, sales forecasts, company order parameters, OTB, inventory health, cover, forth coming events, replenishment needs

Inventory Stock Optimization and Markdown

  • Ensure optimum inventory levels are maintained across brands & territories keeping in mind store requirements ,
  • Drive progressive markdown to ensure inventory health and age

Category Promotions

  • Provide inputs on the expected margins, possible price points and other parameters for promotions
  • Analyze the effectiveness of the promotions in achieving the targeted levels of sales and margins

In season Management

  • Ensure effective in-season management through regular analysis and action planning across brand and territory based on the performance around the anchors like: Sales, Stock; Inflows/OTB; Stock analysis; Stock balancing; Margin analysis

Distribution and allocation

  • Build store-wise ranging of assortment basis size, catchment demographics, price preference etc.
  • Ensure adherence of range plan in store distribution and allocation
  • Optimize store allocation (Min), drive consolidation across stores and territories to maximize revenue potential
