QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

· Educated to degree level or equivalent 

· Highly analytical with a data-driven approach and mindset 

· Experience of working with databases and data software and analysing large data sets. 

· Understanding of data warehouse software or data visualisation tools (Tableau)

· Experience of marketing analytics and reporting platforms (Google Analytics/Adobe or others) 

· Database development and growth including segmentation / advanced targeting 

· Fast learner and committed to personal development and growth 

· Deadline and target driven 

· Building relationships with partners and stakeholders

· Experience of working in a pressurised environment 

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Turkish and English 

· Excellent use of MS Office including advanced Excel skill and intermediate PowerPoint & Word 

· Experience of using marketing automation technology (preferably Eloqua) or email marketing

  

Job Purpose 

To work with the Marketing Data Analyst and wider marketing team to provide data and valuable insights that deliver successful marketing campaigns for exhibitions, conferences, awards, and digital products in line with agreed KPI's.   


Job Accountabilities 

Key Performance Indicators 

· Delivery of data and insights in line with business objectives set out by the Marketing Data Analyst 

· Adherence to timelines and budgets 

· Marketing Data KPI reports  


Main Duties & Responsibilities 

· Extract segments of data for marketing department to use to fulfil campaigns i.e. email, SMS, telemarketing or direct mail 

· Manage and format any files for import into the Informa database or fulfilment purposes  

· Conduct data cleaning and standardisation of data to improve and ensure quality of data

· Monitor weekly reports call centre reports and manage relationship with the call centre supervisor 

· Manage quotations and briefing documents with key data suppliers i.e. registration, telemarketing 

· Analyse and share insights from campaign and data tracking, as well as any key customer segments for weekly in-flight campaigns 

· Build and manage online forms for data capture and ensure all processes are correctly followed including registration, lead generation and surveys. 

· Support marketing in the production or online & onsite badge management with 3rd parties · Assist registration companies at onsite registration area during events

· Identify opportunities for standardised reporting and process improvement 

· Conduct ad hoc analysis and data requests for Marketing functions 

· Share relevant insights with marketing managers to drive revenues or pursue new opportunities 

· Analyse and report trends over time and use these insights to build more effective campaigns · Work with relevant colleagues or suppliers to capture relevant and timely data (onsite & post show surveys, registration forms, industry research etc) 

· Work with internal teams to ensure data governance and data management policies are adhered to 

· Provide pre-agreed reports during and post campaign to monitor channel effectiveness and ROI 

· Use recommended dashboards daily to monitor performance 

· Communication and follow up with customers and key stakeholders as required 

· Manage invoices and payments with suppliers where needed 

· Become part of a culture of testing and metrics-driven decision making in the team

· Share case studies with marketers within the team  


Summary 

We are seeking a technology-oriented marketing data executive with the ability to manage, monitor and optimise customer data. The individual will be analytical, and data oriented with a history of continuous improvement and learning from past performance. With a focus on extracting insights from internal data sources and helping the Marketing team use these to improve campaign performance and segmentation. 

The marketing data executive will also have a sound understanding of the wider business and will connect the Data and Marketing functions, ultimately helping marketers and event stakeholders make data-driven and customer-centric decisions. 

The role will use analytical skills to interpret and communicate insights from data sources such as registration, engagement and leads, as well as other sources. These reports, dashboards and outputs will be used year-round and during event, cycles to inform ongoing business and marketing strategy and planning. 

Experience of marketing technologies and automation experience are desirable. The candidate will be an excellent communicator who works well as part of a team and with stakeholders outside the organisation.  

This is a 10 month FTC role
