GENEL NİTELİKLER VE İŞ TANIMI

JOB SUMMARY:

Tourism/Marketing Manager will be responsible for Planning and Executing the Marketing Plan of Safaraq Travel Company, This Manager will facilitate an active relationship with hotels/restaurants/ Companies & attractions in Turkey.

Tasks to be performed include, but are not limited to:

1-      Work with the CEO to develop the Marketing strategies, programs, and policies

2-      Develop and implement a tourism marketing plan for Turkey Country, and working closely with hotels/motels, restaurants, & county attractions

3-      Responsible of Marketing Budget.

4-      Organize various media information and make affordable and effective media buys to promote tourism in Turkey.

5-      Oversee design/printing of marketing publications.

6-      Plan new research-based advertising strategies for current and subsequent years that will increase the company market share.

7-      Develop relationships with national, international and regional tourism based publications and writers, tours operators and travel agents.

8-      Design, develop and conduct familiarization tours of Turkey for media, event planning, tour operators and travel agents.

9-      Promote attractions & community events to visitors

10-  Contribute to and monitor the flow of new web content, Coordinate with the web Master to create a bi-monthly report on the effectiveness of the website.

11-  Any other duties related to the position.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

A.    Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, or a closely related field, and 3 to 5 years’ experience in marketing or public relations work;

B.     Knowledge of tourism industry

C.     Knowledge of Turkey Country

D.    Must be a self-starter with ability to work with others

E.     Must be computer literate

F.      Experience in marketing presentations

G.    Able to design and compose publications

H.    Accountability Criteria (examples):

ü  Implementation of marketing plan

ü  Presence at community events

ü  Attendance at Chamber events

ü  Hotel/Attractions partnership is maintained

ü  Marketing/Chamber publications are coordinated/streamlined
