QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an Account/ Junior Account Manager will manage one of our key customers' projects. This position is home based and requires frequent visits to customer location.
Requirements of an ideal candidate:
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business, Marketing or Chemistry,
- Minimum 3 years of Fragrance Industry experience (Sales service, Evaluation, Marketing, CI or technical) or Sales or Marketing experience in others industries (preferably FMCG, Flavors, Chemical/Ingredients),
- Fluent in Business English, written and verbal,
- Excellent Project management skills, plan & set priorities effectively, take initiative & deals well with ambiguity,
- Ability to deal with basic financial concepts/processes (Pricing/Margin/Forecasting) and work with IT systems,
- Good Presentation skills,
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, other IT skills desirable,
- Passion in fragrance with strong interests in product development, consumers and market understanding (Marketing/R&D/CI),
- Business Acumen,
- Understands different viewpoints and is an active listener,
- No travel restrictions (frequent travels internationally needed),
- Active driver (having B class driver licence).
Job Description:
- Build understanding of specific customer activities, strategies, brands, markets, consumers via multi-source (public information, annual reports, press, meetings…),
- Build awareness and understanding of cross-functional customer organization,
- Focus on building relationships with customer decision makers/influencers,
- Ensure Client Supply Chain Objectives and Processes are well communicated to IFF Operations,
- Consult with Customer service on key customer supply issues and agree on communication plan,
- To ensure that the full understanding of the potentials in your markets by customer, country and category are up to date,
- Drive personal development and partner with manager to ensure SMART objectives aligned to business and a development plan to drive growth,
- Qualify business opportunities with input from related parties guidelines with support of line management.
