Your responsibility as a database administrator (DBA) will be the performance, integrity and security of a database. You'll be involved in the planning and development of the database, as well as in troubleshooting any issues on behalf of the users.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform database administration and mitigate potential vulnerabilities on database servers.
• Manage all database instances including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Maintain the overall database integrity and quality via data auditing, system checks, security and code value management.
• Design and perform scheme changes according to needs of product development teams.
• Perform all database maintenance and tuning activities to ensure continued availability and performance.
• Implement best practices that will continuously improve service quality.
• Diagnose and resolve database performance and access issues.
• Deploy PLSQL & SQL code changes as provided by application vendor & internal developers while maintaining stringent change control parameters.
• Responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, configuring application environment consisting of Development related databases, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Production levels.
• Troubleshooted and resolved technical problem.
• Review innovative database technologies for existing and future projects.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to work in challenging, fast-paced environment on multiple projects.
• Strong communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
• Solve Customer's problems related to databases.
• Provide 7x24 support.
• Provide support for customers on-call, on-site or remote.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Database technologies and working on Linux Systems.
• Experience on Oracle Database Administration, installation, upgrade, patching.
• Experience on Oracle Database Backup & Recovery with rman.
• Experience on Oracle Database Performance Tuning & SQL Tuning.
• Experience on Oracle RAC installation, Data Guard configuration.
• Experience on Oracle GoldenGate installation and configuration.
• Experience on Oracle Database migration & consolidation.
• Experience on Oracle Enterprise Manager 13c
• Knowledge of Oracle Engineering Systems like ODA.
• Experience open source NoSQL databases and MongoDB.
• Knowledge of Open source databases like MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English.
