Information Technologies Manager

We are looking for an “Senior IT Manager” for our multinational organization operating in Turkey and abroad, which is based in Şişli, İstanbul. Senior IT Manager, will report to Deputy GM and he/she will be responsible for all the Information Systems and Application Development processes.

Qualifications:

• BS Degree in Computer, Electronics, Management or Industrial Engineering or in a technical field
• Advanced level of English (writing and speaking),
• 15+ years of professional experience working as an IT Manager/Director or relevant position,
• Minimum 5 years of people management experience,
• Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration,
• Advanced know-how in System Management (Linux, Windows, SQL) and extensive technical knowledge in System Security,
• Experience in IT Help Desk management,
• Familiarity with application development&programming and experience in software development life cycles and IT Project Management,
• With competencies; analytical thinking, leadership skills, open to research and learning, team-worker with good communication skills, problem-solving, result oriented, time management,
• Working with special care for information security,
• No military obligation,
• Able to travel in Turkey&abroad and to work in flexible hours.

Responsibilities:

• Improving/Maintaining Information Systems Infrastructure to ensure a continuous IT service for the operations in Turkey&abroad,
• Defining improvement and development areas and the budget for them, in the context of IT,
• Management of IT Budget,
• Management and maintenance of Firewall, IP Camera, Virtual Server, IP Services,
• Hosting, Network, IT Security management,
• Investment planning in line with the new technologies and implementation processes,
• Disaster recovery processes management,
• Management of critical business applications in data centers located in overseas countries,
• Test processes of the applications developed by the team and active responsibility in the deployment phases,
• Resource and/or project based outsource management,
• Management of IT Team.
