Full Stack Developer

Icrypex Bilisim A.S. is seeking a motivated web developer with full-stack web and Linux development experience to join the Information Technology team. The developer is responsible for the architecture, development, deployment and administration of both internal and production websites. Responsibilities will also include all integrations to Cloud-based services.     

Experience:

• 2+ years of hands-on web development experience, preferably in networking, Cloud Computing or IT Managed Services industry
• Experience/knowledge of Network, Linux and Windows Management is a plus

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in one or more scripting languages, including: Perl, Python, Ruby, PHP, Laravel etc.
• Proficiency in front-end web design using Javascript, CSS, HTML, and commonly available libraries (jQuery, Bootstrap, Angular, NodeJS etc.)
• Proficiency in back-end web services (e.g. Rails, Django, Sinatra, etc.)
• Able to work with APIs, including cURL.
• Proficiency in assessing and addressing web security issues throughout the organization
• Proficiency in relational database design and architecture (e.g. Mysql, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Proficiency with Ruby or Python
• Proficiency in React.js, Ember.js or a related MVC
• Proficiency in GIS, Cartography or spatial analysis
• Experience contributing to collaborative open source projects
• Experience in test-driven development

Example projects:

• Create services to fetch data from ICRYPEX users
• Improve performance and efficiency of our frontend & backend, allowing us to handle increasingly large datasets with minimal delay
• Build internal frameworks and refine front end infrastructure to augment developer productivity
• Construct API endpoints to allow icrypex.com and third party companies to build custom tools and features
• Construct API endpoints to different websites of the group company to build custom tools and features

Education:

• Bachelor in Computer Science or a related technical field is preferred.
