GENEL NİTELİKLER VE İŞ TANIMI
As a leading construction company, we are looking for a Company Lawyer to be assigned in our Project Site based in Mersin/Akkuyu, for the first Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) in Turkey.
Reporting to line manager, a successful canditate will have the following qualifications:
- Law Degree (Bachelors of Law) from a high-ranked university (Master’s degree in law is preferred),
- Minimum 3-5 year proven PQE at a top-tier law firm or as an in-house lawyer with a focus on contracts, preferably construction contracts,
- Excellent written and spoken English & Turkish. Fluency in Russian is highly advantageous,
- Experience in the fields of Corporate Law, Commercial Law, Contract Law, Construction Law, Energy Law, Labour Law,
- Experienced in preparing amendments to General Company Assembly, Board of Directors and article of association resolutions,
- Eligibility to practise law (Valid Bar Membership),
- Male candidates must have completed their military service,
- Willing to relocate Silifke/Mersin and work in the Site

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Handle legal matters under supervision of line manager,
- Understand applicable law and regulations and monitor regulatory developments,
- Regularly meet with senior management to identify risks, challenges and needs and deliver appropriate advice and support,
- Support Procurement, Administrative, H&R and Contract departments,
- Prepare and review contracts for all aspects for the project, including main contracts, partnership agreements, subcontracts, supply and purchase order agreements, and employment contracts. Undertake a legal review of any other document as required by the management team and work with legal counsel(s) where neccessary,
- Monitor commercial and contractual risks of the project and guide dispute resolution process, if any,
- Support contractual review meetings and negotiations with third parties as well as follow-up on variation/change orders and claims during project execution,
- Communicate effectively with Russian and other project participants to provide requried assistance and support,
- Take on any other duties which are within the employee’s skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed,
