QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

IAS - Industrial Application Software is a 4.0 Industry Software developer operating in Switzerland, Germany, Turkey, Dubai, India, South Korea, and USA serving more than 30.000+ concurrent users in 30+ countries.

 

We are actually looking for an experienced Global HR Director, based in Istanbul Office who will establish, implement and lead our Human Resources Strategy to the whole company.

This highly motivating and challenging position has the leading responsibilities below: 

  • Develops organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues; contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction; establishing human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives.
  • Implements human resources strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention and labor relations.
  • Manages human resources operations by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining staff; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing staff job contributions; maintaining compensation; determining production, productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies; designing systems; accumulating resources; resolving problems; implementing change.
  • Develops human resources operations financial strategies by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating requirements, trends, and variances; aligning monetary resources; developing action plans; measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances.
  • Supports management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions; analyzing information and applications.
  • Guides management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organization values.
  • Complies with local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in conferences and educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

The ideal candidate has the qualifications below: 

  • 10+ years of experience in Human Resources Management Processes in an international environment
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in International Team Management
  • Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Engineering or Social Sciences
  • Experience with supporting and leading a culture change; ideally would have some organization development experience in a previous role
  • Strong sense of self as a leader, manager and employee who is able to deliver a high level of customer service to all levels of employees
  • High-energy, creative and resourceful self-starter who demonstrates leadership, instincts, analytical, influencing and decision-making skills
  • Team player who is receptive to ideas, critiques and coaching, shares information and keeps key stakeholders informed
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience in leading HR initiatives over multiple sites is required
  • Experience in software industry is a plus
  • Confident and dynamic communicator
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Must have completed military service.
