QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a “Quality Assurance Manager” for our multinational client with the qualifications below;
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering,
- Min. 7 years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, performance testing or a related field would be an asset, a master’s degree in the relevant field could substitute for years of experience,
- 3 years of supervisory experience is required,
- Knows Microsoft Office suite, ERP, Statistical Tools,
- Knows arithmetic, algebra, calculus, statistics and their applications,
- Knows and predicts physical principles, laws, their interrelationships and their applications to understand fluid, material and understand mechanical and electrical structures and processes,
- Analyzes information and evaluates results to choose the best solution and solve problems,
- Identifies the underlying principles, reasons, facts, or information by breaking down information or data into separate parts,
- Effectively communicates information and responds to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients, the general public and other employees of the organization,
- Maintains confidentiality and uses discretion with business information,
- Reads and understands documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals,
- Writes routine reports and correspondence,
- Deals with problems involving several known variables in situations of routine nature,
- Plans the time, method, manner and/or performance sequence of own work,
- Frequently makes decisions of both minor and major importance, which may affect the work operations of other employees and/or clientele to a moderate degree,
- Works independently with minimal management oversight,
- Completes some moderately repetitive tasks,
- Highly fluent in spoken and written English,
- Great analytical and analysis skills,

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Responsible for creating, planning, coordinating and directing quality control programs to ensure continuous production consistent with established standards and regulatory requirements,
- Formulates and maintains quality control objectives,
- Coordinates quality objectives with production procedures to maximize product reliability and minimize costs,
- Directs employees engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products,
- Plans promote and organize training activities related to the product quality and reliability,
- Investigates and resolves customer complaints,
- Evaluates and supervises assigned customer complaints. Works with the appropriate department personnel to resolve the complaint,
- Oversees internal and external audits relative to ISO standards. Prepares formal reports,
- Outlines product deficiencies and suggests corrections. Tracks corrective actions until discrepancies are resolved,
- Reviews all product analysis from the various departments to determine the existence of any quality problems,
- Follows incoming inspection requirements as needed,
- Coordinates quality system non-conformance issues with the appropriate manufacturing department personnel and/or suppliers to achieve acceptably resolution,
- Conducts FMEA and PFMEA in support of new designs and/or continuous improvement projects,
