The details of the position is as follow:
- Responsible for developing and executing best practices in managing inventory, supply chain, and operations to maximize customer experience, sales, margin, instock rates and inventory turns,
- Responsible for developing business plans that include inventory allocation plans that support the business unit targets for sales, capacity, and free cash flow. Responsible determining how to allocate resources for variable cost reduction and profit margin improvement to drive overall profitability for the business unit. These analyses encompass short, medium and long term planning horizons,
- Responsible for forecasting and planning optimization, procurement, vendor lead times, inventory management and customer order fulfillment,
- Manage inventory availability and inventory flow including improved in-stock, turns, and vendor operational improvements (efficiency, fill rates, lead time),
- Analyze and interpret market trends, pricing reports and consumer needs in order to make strategic buying decisions for category products in order to achieve revenue and margin targets for category/ies.,
- Making pricing decision in category products using pricing tools, reports and market insights in order to maximize revenue and margin,
- Working with key vendors on expanding selection and optimum sourcing recommendations/decisions,
- Analyze inventory position and SKU performance to determine inventory liability, determine exit strategy for unproductive inventory,
- Working with key vendors closely and prepare carousel, daily offers, daily and monthly campaigns for category products,
- Achieve and maintain high instock rates on replenishment programs,
- Work closely with Category operation team to ensure seamless operations in dedicated categories.
İŞ TANIMI
The ideal candidate should have:
- University degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics etc,
- Minimum 5 years of experience in related areas,
- Retail and purchasing experience is an asset,
- Good command of English in both speaking and writing,
- SAP knowledge is a plus,
- Excellent command of computer knowledge and MS Office applications,
- High communications skills, both with management teams and junior staff,
- Proactive, take decisions in strategic steps, hard worker, enjoy details, problem solver,
- For male candidates military service should be completed.
