To be part of our dynamic and passionate world, we are looking for a Supervisor Operations Equipment Dispositions who will be located in our Izmir office.

Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s degree in related filed.

·         +3 years’ experience in liner shipping or freight forwarding.

·         Proven work experience as a team leader or superior.

·         Excellent written and verbal communications in English

·         Proficiency in MS office applications

·         Agile and open for improvement

·         Cost consciousness

Job Description

·         Management of empty equipment stock levels throughout Area.

·         Guides, coaches and supports the Equipment department.

·         Liaises with internal departments to plan timely movement and availability of equipment.

·         Researches shipment issues and determines corrective actions.

·         Creates action plans for equipment imbalance issues.

·         Ensures that company systems are updated correctly and in a timely manner.

·         Analyzes vendor performance and determines benchmarks.

·         Assists customers and vendors with operational and claims issues.

·         Develops new business processes for smoother workflows.

·         Monitors and measures workload of staff to ensure best process is in place.

·         Accountable for problem resolution with customers, vendors and other offices within the company.

·         Provides training for staff on new systems, regulations and requirements.

·         Makes certain that all departmental and functional training requirements are fulfilled. Ensures consistent application of Hapag-Lloyd policies to all personnel actions.
