QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

This job advertisement was published in order to create a candidate pool for the positions of a project we are in the tender process. After the project becomes active, all applicants will be contacted.


 Qualifications

  • University degree in business administration, economy, finance, accounting or any other relevant field
  • Minimum 2 years experience in financial reporting, accounting, supply and procurement
  • Experience in administration; report writing, note taking, official correspondence
  • Experience in working with vulnerable persons and especially with children is an asset.
  • Good command of Excel and Microsoft Word preferred
  • Fluency in Turkish is required
  • Written and spoken English and/or Arabic is a strong asset
  • Ability to work in a team setting, good adaptability and interpersonal communication skills
  • Sensitivity to cultural, religious, age and gender differences and the ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
  • Familiarity/prior experience within migration management and emergency response sectors would be an advantage
  • Availability to travel in Turkey.

 

Job Description

  • Support the implementation of the programme and delivery of concrete and sustainable results
  • Provide logistical, administrative and financial support for implementation of the programme
  • Support the preparation of quarterly progress and financial reports in coordination with the programme team and other related departments
  • Monitor ongoing levels of expenditures against budget, and provide timely advice of potential over or underspending to the programme coordinator
  • Ensure that financial reports are regularly prepared and submitted
  • Ensure all the reports and expenses are well recorded and filed
  • Facilitate and organize coordination meetings at central level/provincial level with programme staff and other relevant authorities
