QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Overview:

The HR and Admin Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of human resources and administrative operations within the organization. This position involves handling various HR functions as well as providing administrative support to facilitate efficient office procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Human Resources:
  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial candidate assessments.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities for new employees, including orientation sessions, paperwork completion, and setup of employee records.
  • Maintain employee records and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
  • Handle employee inquiries and provide support on HR-related matters, such as policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Assist with performance management processes, including employee evaluations, goal setting, and performance improvement plans.
  • Support HR initiatives and projects, such as employee engagement programs, training and development activities, and HR compliance efforts.
  • Assist with employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
  • Administration:
  • Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for employees as required.
  • Assist in scheduling meetings, appointments, and conference calls, and prepare meeting agendas and materials.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail, emails, and phone calls.
  • Maintain office filing systems and ensure documentation is organized and easily accessible.
  • Assist with facilities management tasks, such as maintenance requests, office equipment, and space planning.
  • Support financial administration tasks, such as processing invoices, expense reports, and payroll data.
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
