IT Help Desk Specialist

Global Kapital Group was established in 2010 and has grown in a mere 9 years to a global financial services company, with offices currently across 18-countries and a total workforce of over 1,500 people. 

This role will work for the global brokerage business line of Global Kapital Group.

We are looking for a customer service oriented IT Help Desk Specialist to provide technical support to users in an efficient and accurate manner. 

 Responsibilities:

• Respond to daily user requests and resolve issues, local or remote in a proactive manner
• Troubleshoot, install, repair and deployment of workstations (PC / Mac)
• Install, support and maintain client printing environment
• Installing and troubleshooting of applications such as anti-virus, patch management and diagnostic tools.
• Installing and troubleshooting of productivity applications such as email, word processing, spreadsheets, web browsers, etc.
• Troubleshooting networking infrastructure such as access points and switches
• Ordering and maintaining inventory of equipment, hardware, software and licenses for all software purchased.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Required Skills:

• Bachelors degree in information technology preferred
• Minimum two years technical experience
• Experience with account administration and password resets in a Microsoft Active Directory environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Outstanding troubleshooting and problem solving abilities
• Strong organizational and prioritizing skills
• Excellent customer service and follow-up skills
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented
• Willing to travel occasionally.
