Senior/Junior Software Engineer(S)

For our telecommunications company based in London we are searching for team members in Izmir or Istanbul development team. International travel may be required for customer and projects meetings.

It will be useful to have understanding of telecom services including Voice, SMS, Billing and CRM. Cloud experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Development & Deployment environment : Bitbucket, Jira, Kubernetes, DigitalOcean/AWS.

Stack: Python,Flask,Postgres, React

Junior x 2

The successful Java/Python Developers will have the following:

• 2+ years commercial Development experience

• An aptitude to learn new things and try things nobody has done before

• Flexible and adaptable

• Ability to become a key member of a fun, friendly and collaborative team

• A love for building APIs and other web services at scale.

• Relish the opportunity to take on a challenging problem, choose the right tool for the job and build an elegant, scalable solution.

Any of the following would be highly advantageous but NOT necessary: Telecom Billing, AWS, Ubuntu, Bitbucket

Senior/Architect

• Experience working on, and preferably building and organising larger enterprise and multi-developer python projects

• Experience of OO design and development and understanding classes

• Willingness to guide/develop cloud native applications

• A love for building APIs and other web services at scale (Nice to have Salesforce, AWS, Google ,etc API etc experience)

• How to choose testing frameworks and continuous integration platforms

• Knows how to set up python environment, package management & virtual environments

• Passionate about technology, taking a software engineering approach, curious and knowledgeable about what python can do – and how it does it (under the hood)

• Knowledge of Python Standard Library – exceptions, logging, arguments, iterators, list comprehensions, generators, decorators, context managers

• Experience how (and why) to structure and organise code – modules, packages Unit tests and debugging

• Confidence and experience to peer review other developers code

• Able to guide developers and modellers (non-software engineers) to write structured code adhering to standards and style.
