QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Managing Wind Project sites with the focus on safety, budget and time.
This is an 18 months fixed term contract.
-Oversee all wind site Execution activities including Logistic, Erection and commissioning phases and ensure compliance with quality and safety regulations per company and Locallegislation
-Provide leadership and clear direction to project team including crane and installation subcontractors in terms of project execution
-Meet contractual conditions of performance by reviewing the work progress on a daily basis
-Prepare internal and external reports to communicate progress
-Proactively plan and align site activities to prevent loss times, problems and resolve any emerging challenges in advance
-Identify improvement opportunities across the wind turbine transport, erection and assembly activities
-Represent the company at site and Communicate with Customer and Contractor in a professional manner, promoting a cohesive environment to work together as a team for the site’s success
-Ensure all logistic, installation deliverables are met within contractual requirements and set deadlines.
-Accountable from EHS and Quality compliance of the execution as per company and locallegislation
-Maintain and promote EHS, safety and quality culture.
-Liaise with Project Manager for smooth close out and handover process
Qualifications / Requirements:
-Bachelors’ degree in engineering discipline from an accredited university
-Solid experience of supervision/leadership
-At least 5 years’ experience with installation and mechanical completion of Wind Turbines.
-Ability and willingness to work on weekends, public-vacation, shift-work
-Ability to manage resources
-Ability to mentor and train new Site Leads
-Driver's licence required
-Ability to work at Height
-Fluent in English
-Ability and willingness to work across multiple business functions
-Ability to travel to domestic and international locations for work and/or training for extended periods of time
-PC knowledge of Microsoft applications
-High sense of accountability

-Good verbal, non-verbal communication skills together with interpersonal skills (empathy, respect, patience, constructive conflict management)
