QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
To ensure the overall quality of the power transformers activity in order to reach the customer satisfaction and protect the right of the customer.
To drive the quality assurance activities in order to prevent from deviation to specifications and customer requirements from tendering to warranty including engineering, supplier, manufacturing, final tests and project management activities.
Essential Responsibilities:
To be the site QMS coordinator to make sure the local process owners are aligned with the global processes and product line instructions. Also ensure coordination of the internal audit activities of the site.
- To stop the production in case of non-conformities occurred on process (including design and erection), material and product
- To drive the cultural change from QC to QA with the preventive methodologies like DFMEA and PFMEA in order to translate Customer requirements in Design and Manufacturing robust processes (i.e. process controls)
- To drive the change from QC to self-inspection
- To contribute to design and manufacturing gate reviews including the post FAT return of experience
- To Coach the 8D leaders for efficient and quick problem solving
- To Make sure the control plans and associated specifications are updated with the learnings (FMEA, gate reviews, 8D’s)
- To customize Customer ITP’s with the contract specific requirements and make sure they serve as inputs to the project risks, design reviews and FMEA’s
- To prepare and contribute for the quality scope when Customer visits
- Implementation of the established and integrated quality system with respect to quality policy and quality objectives to reach the Unit’s targets and meet customer satisfaction
- To drive the internal audit program construction and make sure the audits are carried out according the business rules
- To provide appropriate templates for creating the instructions
- Aware of the company and local EHS policies, rules and standards. Showing exemplary behaviors on EHS
- To implement quality improvements together with cross functional teams
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Min. Bachelor's degree in Engineering Departments (preferable Electrical Engineering)
- Experience in and knowledge of Transformers industry
- Strong verbal and written skills in English
- Preventive quality tools (FMEA, R&R, Cpk ...)
- Ability to understand raw material and electrical requirements
- Having process orientation and good analytical and strong problem-solving skills
- Organizational behavior
- Experience working within a matrix structure
- Background and/or experience with Electrical systems
