GENEL NİTELİKLER VE İŞ TANIMI

Connectivity and Power & Grounding Leader is responsible for designing, deploying and maintaining most effective VPN and secure internet connectivity solutions amongst huge installed base and new installations which consists of GEHC medical systems and equipment, to enable growth of service offerings. He/she will develop the LCT wide strategy to eliminate power quality and grounding related failures for the improvement of equipment performance.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Providing technical leadership to the field team, remotely or by accompanying them at the sites if necessary, and facilitate in resolving technical issues concerning connectivity and in diagnosing data communication problems
  • Being the subject matter expert for remote technologies, new Digital Services, Connectivity requirement and processes in Turkey
  • Support and train cross-functional teams on Remote platforms, processes and technologies
  • Where possible attending customer visits to promote and show the benefits of Broadband giving technical knowledge as required
  • Providing training and support for internal and external customers on broadband solutions; keep in touch with Services Sales and Installation teams in case they need technical information regarding connectivity
  • Responsible for Broadband connectivity metrics, system connectivity infrastructure readiness, connect and/or plan connecting customer systems to GE VPN network
  • Identifying and creating monitoring solutions/mechanisms and action plans for the LCT to drive the maximum connectivity performance
  • Establishing the power & grounding strategy, required processes and key metrics to monitor performance
  • Performing pro-active pre-installation P&G audits before installation of equipment
  • Performing re-active P&G audits of installed base equipment identified to have customer satisfaction issues, high parts usage, image quality issues, and/or low uptime
  • Working with installation specialists to address power quality issues during pre-installation planning and assure planned power meets GE specifications prior to equipment install
  • Compliance to Health, Safety and Quality procedures. Undertake training as and when required to ensure full compliance

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Engineering degree or equivalent (Computer Science, Electronics, Biomedical, Telecommunications, Information Technology) or equivalent knowledge or experience
  • 3 years of networking experience; especially on enterprise solutions, VPN networking, SSL and IPSEC data encryption (Cisco VPN experience is a plus)
  • 3 years of field experience on power and grounding process, tools and applications
  • Good knowledge of local area networks, internet security, data communications
  • Good analytical and communication skills to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with all those contacted during the course of work
  • Open minded with ability to develop relationship with a multinational, virtual and multifunctional teams
  • Experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment
  • Creative mindset with ability to come up with ideas for continuous improvement and technology
  • Ability to manage all aspects of customer service, customer satisfaction, and contractual commitments
  • Excellent presentation and influencing skills
  • Fluent English: Daily oral and written communication
  • Ability and willingness to travel on work assignments

Desired Characteristics:

  • CCNA certified
  • Certified Power Quality Professional, Professional Engineer License or equivalent
  • 5 years with multi-modality experience in field service
  • Project management experience
  • Knowledge of GEHC product families and their applications
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate others and achieve results
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Demonstrated commitment for process improvement
  • Customer-focused in defining quality and establishing priorities
  • Change agent with strong credibility and influence in the organization
