We are seeking an organized, experienced purchasing officer, who has a knowledge about natural gas industry and equipments, to buy products that are essential for our company’s day-to-day operations. You will review prices and quality and also ensure optimal stock levels. For this role, you should have good knowledge of market research, along with solid analytical skills to make sure you’re identifying the most profitable offers. You’ll create and maintain good relationships with key suppliers to ensure merchandise is high quality and delivered on time.

RESPONSIBULITIES OF PURCHASING OFFICER

· Researching potential vendors

· Comparing and evaluating offers from suppliers

· Negotiating contract terms of agreement and pricing

· Evaluating product quality, researching different vendors, and negotiating contrac

· Periodic travel to supplier sites and vendor meetings

· Track orders and ensure timely delivery

· Examine and review products and supplies to ensure quality

· Ensure the traceability of purchased product based on project level,

· Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices,dates) into internal databases

· Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices

· Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses

· Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed

· Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage

· Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay up-to-date with industry trends

· Compare suppliers using cost-benefit analysis.

· Track incoming inventory, delivery arrival time, and note actual arrival time

· Work with team members, Project&sales, and manufacturing manager to develop future purchasing plans and source potential relationships with vendors

REQUIREMENTS

University degree in mechanical engineering or metallurgical engineering or petrolium&natural gas engineering.

Good command of written and spoken English. 

Work experience as a Purchasing Officer, Purchasing Agent or similar role.

Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.

Good command of written and spoken English; able to negotiate, establish, and process contracts

Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors).

Negotiating financial and logistical details with suppliers.

Strong organization and communication skills.

Have to be able to analyze suppliers based on price, delivery speed, reputation, and a variety of other factors.

Establish relationships and serve as a representative of the company when negotiating contracts and building vendor and supplier trust.
