Big Data Engineer

Garanti Teknoloji is looking for "Big Data Developers" to join its successful Big Data & Advanced Analytics Development Team. Successful recruits will benefit from the huge amount of technical experience and knowledge within the team and will be given opportunities to develop technical analysis and design skills.

Requirements: 

• BS or MS in Computer Engineering,
  
• Experience with Scala programming and Apache Spark,
  
• Good knowledge of common Apache Projects (Kafka, HIVE, Flume, etc),
  
• Familiarity with Java and Python programming,
  
• Familiarity with PL/SQL and ETL projects,
  
• Familiarity with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI) is a plus,
  
• A passion for maintaining high quality and following standards for processes and software,
  
• Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines, ability to manage different tasks/projects simultaneously,
  
• High self-motivation to deal with multiple projects and priorities,
  
• A good command of written and spoken English,
  
• Male candidates should have no military obligations or postponed for at least two years.
  

Job Description:

The responsibilities of this position include:

• Research, design, develop and maintain Big Data solutions
  
• Deploy analytic solutions into the production systems and integrate with banking applications
  
• Design and develop bank's analytic datamarts using Oracle Data Integrator
  
• Support data scientists and streamline analytic processes
  
• Design, develop and maintain programs written in Java, Scala, Python
  
• Design, create and maintain reports and dashboards using Oracle BI
