Your role:

We are looking for a highly motivated, proactive, and collaborative colleague to join our team as part of Supply Chain Department. This position reports to the Supply Chain Manager and is located in Manisa, Turkey.

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

• To be responsible for the planning and supply of direct materials (purchased raw materials and subcontracted semi-finished) required for production,
• Perform monthly, weekly, and daily material planning activities in line with the planning parameters and inventory policies for the managed portfolio,
• Monitor inventory values against an agreed target, and find ways to improve the current stock coverage days,
• Support inventory controls to validate inventory accuracy,
• Minimize write-off stock and manage slow-moving and inactive items,
• To make transition planning in BOM changes, to implement change management in contact with the related units,
• Proactively liaise with all levels of the organization on material-related issues and simultaneously address potential negative impacts on internal and external customers,
• Controlling material information in the ERP system,
• Create regular statistical reports and analyses and update others in the organization,
• Develop strong relationships with suppliers and improve supplier capability, 
• Other duties as assigned. 

QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably Industrial Engineering),

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably Industrial Engineering),
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in raw material planning (steel, electric motors, and long lead time materials)
• Good understanding of the linkages between inventory control, planning, and procurement,
• Strong communication skills and a good team player,
• Good command of MS Office applications, and ERP systems (preferably SAP knowledge)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English,
• Experienced in order and operational processes follow-up,
• International work experience is preferred.
